Robby Glantz 08

They had to play a mini game and Austin was on
the "skins" team...hehehehe

He looks so werid without a jersey

Nice edge work Bubba
Nice cross-over too;)
Again with the edge work:0

Austin with Alex
So they have these resistance belts on and
1 player has to pass the one in front...Austin
has to go against this fast little kid from Russia..
he did, but it took some work.

My favorite drill, I don't know about Austin's
but it's my favorite to watch... 2 players have
to face each other..one is the leader and they
have to mirror each other and then when
coach blows the whistle it's a race to the end of
the rink...this is Austin & Connor Irby and
Austin won:)

Look at that arm way back:) Awesome form

Nice full leg extention

Robby Glantz

Even though Austin is falling, he loves this pic
he says he is "floating"

This was Bubba's second year attending the local Robby Glantz Power Skating school...
The camp is amazing, all the kids learn so much and progress so much in one week it's amazing;)
We had the same coaches as last year, Brad and ALex, they both rock and we were glad to see them again this year... Brad lives in Mesa, we talked to him about sending Austin to a camp down in Pheonix next Spring, so he can go to another camp taught by Brad and see Grandpa Don and Grandma Patti:)

This year the kids got a great surprise on day 4...Robby Glantz himself....he is AMAZING...he is high energy, and so much fun and it one great teacher....he is on the staff of the ANAHEIM DUCKS and has taught some of the great hockey players how to power skate, Crosby being one of them....
Sorry the pictures aren't so great, the camera was having issues focusing between 2 panes of plexi-glass, the cold and the speed;) We didn't want to use my speed light or flash most of the time due to the glare and the distraction....the coaches do not tollerate any distraction from the parents......
Sidenote, the kids everyday also had to do off-ice training, which included lots of different plyometrics and fun exercise activities;)
Can't wait until next Spring and next Summer....

So... I really suck at keeping this thing up to date, just imagine how I will do during the hockey season, if I suck this bad during the off season:)

Anyways I am trying to go back in time from the last post and catch everyone up today, I might actually finish the DISNEY WORLD post if I can get the pictures to load right, and there are like a million of them:0)

On to the 4Th, we had the weekend off, no hockey, no work and no softball.....

Jill, Brian and Kaleb came over, and we literally just chilled out...I fell asleep on the couch:) We had yummy BBQ and other great food, Brian had to go to work that night, so he left before it was dark :(

We didn't start until about 9pm it was barely dark, but the boys were dying to do the fireworks, pop-it's only go so far... I didn't take many pics, but they are kinda cute, especially the one with Jill and Kaleb:)
Michael M. showed up and hung out with us watching fireworks, Jill and Kaleb left about 11:30, Michael stayed and watch the show "how do they make that" until 4am...that is what time we usually get up to go to hockey practice:) It was awesome to not have to get up early and hang out with Mike...and by the way I hardly eat hot dogs but after that night I will NEVER eat another hot dog to save my life:)

Enjoy
